At the NVR your safety is paramount to us for you to enjoy your day, so we have put in to place some new ways of enjoying your day.

Please note there are limited toilets on the train and we ask passengers to use the wipes made available to sanitize after use.

Trains will depart at 10:00, 12:10 and 14:20 for a return trip to Peterborough, via Yarwell. Tickets are valid for one round trip only, please remain in your seats throughout your trip. 

£50 per compartment which seats up to 6 persons

£10.00 per person for a round trip.

If you wish to board at Overton or Peterbrough please purchase your tickets on the day from the Station(s), ensuring you leave enough time to purchase your tickets.
 
 

Terms & Conditions

  • Services are pre-book only. Compartments (max 6 people same party) Open table coaches (max 4 people). Children are classed as a passenger from 1+ years old. This is due to capacity restrictions. Children aged under 1 year, can travel sat on a guardians lap. 
  • Parties will not be mixed.
  • Discount passes and offers are not valid on these services. 
  • Wear a face covering when boarding the train. These may be removed whilst seated in a compartment only unless moving around the train where you will be required to wear a face covering. All other carriages will require face coverings to be worn. Those exempt include children under 11 years old, passengers with disabilities, those with breathing difficulties and anyone travelling with someone who relies on lip reading. 
  • Please arrive no earlier than 30 minutes before departure or later than 20 minutes before departure (you may be held in a queue) 
  • Please remember to bring your E ticket on the day
  • Dogs are permitted (chargeable ticket is required)
  • Passengers who require the use of a wheelchair can access the train via the Guards Van.
  • Missed timings will not be refunded

Covid 19 Control measures

  • We have introduced one-way systems at Wansford Station to help visitors maintain social distance. Some other changes are :-
  • Gift shop. A wide range of products to suit all tastes and pockets.

  • Tea, Coffee and a selection of alcoholic and soft drinks will be available from the kiosk under the marquee.

  • Pre-packed snacks and cakes will also be on sale.  No hot food will be available.

  • Please be prepared to make payment by contact free card.  We will not have change for cash purchases.

  • We have set up enhanced cleaning regimes.  Please allow our volunteers to do their work.

  • Hand Sanitisers will be available.

  • A limited number of new toilets have been installed near to platform 5.  

                

 

Booking information

When Boarding all tickets must be presented to the Wansford Booking office to be validated 

Please ensure you bring your tickets either on your smart phone or printed off to present on arrival.

Please arrive no earlier than 30 minutes before departure or no later than 20 minutes before departure - this is to allow for checking in and boarding.

Face Coverings are required to travel on the train, if seated in a compartment coverings may be removed once seated.

All children to be accompanied by a paying adult
