As NVR raises awareness for autism, have a ride behind Thomas on his branch line
The Nene Valley Railway is proud to support people with disabilities, both physical and mental. On 2nd April 2025 the railway is open to everyone, both people with autism and those who want to know more about it. Come and have a ride behind Thomas! Your ticket will allow you to ride any or all of the Thomas trains on the day. Thomas services are on the hour from 10:00 until 15:00. Thomas will take his branch line from Wansford to Yarwell, where you will have the opportunity to get off the train and view Thomas on the platform as he runs round to join the other end of the train.
For those who are sensitive to noise, you may wish to bring your ear protectors or anything that makes you feel comfortable. There will also be some quiet spaces for anyone who finds the noise overwhelming.
• A Rover ticket for the Thomas services
