Best of British - The Evening Scotsman Jolly Fisherman

Fish, Chips and Steam! Enjoy a nostalgic evening of steam on board our train hauled by Flying Scotsman with a good old-fashioned fish and chip supper followed up with Highland Shortbread.

The Highlandman was introduced by the London and North Eastern Railway on 11 July 1927 as an additional sleeping car express train departing King's Cross at 7.25pm for Inverness, Fort William and the Western Highlands. It carried an additional sleeping car portion for Nairn which was disconnected at Aviemore.

• Enjoy a drink, which can be purchased from our on board bar, while you have a good look at Flying Scotsman
• Scottish Piper will be playing for your arrival next the Flying Scotsman (Please note there will be no Piper on 1st March)
• Traditional Fish & Chip supper served as our train makes its way through the Nene Valley
• No dogs are permitted on dining events, with the exception of Service Dogs
• The train will depart from Wansford Station at 19:00, returning at approximately 21:30
• Booking required to avoid disappointment
• Trip includes two full round trips - your meal is served during the first round trip upon arrival at Peterborough Nene Valley Station
