- Railway 200: Trackcess All Areas
A rare full-day track experience at Nene Valley Railway
Calling all track bashers, rare mileage hunters, and railway enthusiasts — this is your chance to explore the less-travelled reaches of the Nene Valley Railway network!
On Friday 5th September, join us for Trackcess All Areas, a full-day enthusiast charter covering sidings, loops, headshunts and yards that are normally out of bounds to passenger trains. From bay platforms to sidings, this is a rare opportunity to tick off lines that don’t normally see passenger use.
Whether you’re working towards your track map, building mileage on unique routes, or just looking to enjoy a day of operational variety, this event promises something truly different.
The event starts at 08:30 and will finish at approximately 16:00 and aims to cover a wide range of track that is rarely, if ever, used by public trains, including:
All planned movements are subject to operational availability and final sign-off on the day.
This event is aimed at enthusiasts with a passion for rarely used track, unusual moves, and behind-the-scenes operations. Whether you’re a track basher, diesel fan, yard layout lover or just curious about what lies beyond the station platform, you’ll feel right at home.
Bring your camera, notepad, and a sense of curiosity as we explore areas of the railway that most visitors never get to see.
