“Recreating the Past for the Future in Miniature”
The Miniature Railway is based at Wansford Station just behind the Miniature Railway & Wagon Group Shop (which is where you purchase your ticket to travel on the Miniature Railway). The 5” Gauge railway runs along the side of the car park and offers train rides to adults and children alike. We operate Steam and Battery electric locomotives. The Miniature Railway boasts two stations, turntable, locomotive shed, goods sidings, signals and everything that is mainline in miniature. The Miniature Railway is fully supported by donations and ticket sales.
Our Ticket Office and shop is well stocked with some special Miniature Railway gifts. Our Collectors Corner has a wide selection of Days Gone By and Lledo cars and vans, books, railway models, and wooden train letters to make your name with, along with many other items.
