We’re working on our Night Mail Museum, telling the story of postal deliveries in Britain and around the world - we have already collected some interesting exhibits and hope to display various vehicles in a new carriage shed.
For more information on the museum go to: www.nightmail.org.uk
Overton Station is currently hosting a photographic and historical slide show showcasing the 40 years of the NVR, this also include rarely seen photographs of the filming of James Bonds Octopussy. The exhibition is running until October and is available on running days when the station is open.
We’ve also had a great new renovation - come and have a look! We’re open on every weekend running day and most midweek days in school holidays.
And if you like what you see, you might like to be very generous and help us towards the last £200 we need to finish off our splendid new canopy - we’ve raised £1800 so far!
