Booking and fares

Tickets are available to book online up to midnight on the date before travel for our standard travel services.
Tickets are also available on the day from our Wansford Station Booking Office or on-board the train with our Travelling Ticket Inspectors.

Book an All Day Rover ticket and hop on and off throughout the day to explore all Nene Valley Railway has to offer.

DISABLED ACCESS & CARERS

Carers travel for a discounted rate on standard travel days when accompanying a disabled passenger with a full ticket.
Please bring along a form of identification with you to show you are acting as a carer for the visit. Some Gala, Railcar or Special
Events may have a different ticket rates due to the nature of the event, please see individual event information for full details.

Shorter Journeys - Purchase on the Day

We also provide a number of other ticket types for shorter trips - Interstastion Fares

If you are using a Members Only or Campsite Discount Code at the time of purchase, please ensure that on the day of travel, you bring the required evidence of the applied code. Should you not have the evidence with you at the point of checking, you will be asked to pay the balance of the full amount.

DISABLED PARKING

There is a limited area opposite the station building for disabled badge holders which is not time limited. This area is a discretionary parking area and we ask that others show consideration when parking.

DOGS & BICYCLES

CAN I BRING MY BICYCLE?

YES! We are very happy for you to bring your bicycle along for your Standard Travel train ride. This will always be dependant on space,
as bicycles will be transported on board the train in our Guards Van. There is a small fee of £2 to take your bicycle with
you. Fee is payable on arrival at the Station in the Booking Office. Please note bicycles are not always permitted on
Special Event Travel. Please see specific event details for clarification.

CAN I BRING MY DOG?

YES! We are very happy to welcome your furry family member on board our Standard Travel Trains, so they do not miss out on your
family day out. Each dog must have a ticket to travel on board. £2 per dog. We do ask all dog owners to ensure that their
dogs are kept on the lead at all times, off all carriage seats and from causing any inconvenience to any fellow passanger.

Please note that dogs are not permitted on most Dining Trains and some Special Events. Please check specific event details for
clarification on this.
