Information on Booking and fares

All tickets should be purchased in advance on the web site, a small amount of on the day tickets may be available on standard travel days, but we cannot guarantee availability. We advise you ring ahead to check on availability

We would be grateful if you would consider making a small donation to help with the upkeep of the Nene Valley Railway 263617.

DISABLED ACCESS & CARERS

Carers travel for a discounted rate of £5 on standard travel days when accompanying a disabled passenger with a full ticket. Please bring along a form of identification with you to show you are acting as a carer for the visit. Some Gala or Special Events may have a different carers ticket rate due to the nature of the event, please see individual event information for full details.

DISABLED PARKING

We don't have an enforced disabled parking area but, as a railway we have marked up a small area opposite the front of our Wansford Station Building as a disabled area. This area does run as a first come first parked area and a car that chooses to park there does not have to display a Blue Badge. But we do hope that our visitors do show courtesy to others.

DOGS & BICYCLES

CAN I BRING MY BICYCLE?

YES! We are very happy for you to bring your bicycle along for your Standard Travel train ride. This will always be dependant on space, as bicycles will be transported on board the train in our Guards Van. There is a small fee of £2 to take your bicycle with you. Fee is payable on arrival at the Station in the Booking Office. Please note bicycles are not always permitted on Special Event Travel. Please see specific event details for clarification.

CAN I BRING MY DOG?

YES! We are very happy to welcome your furry family member on board our Standard Travel Trains, so they do not miss out on your family day out. Each dog must have a ticket to travel on board. £2 per dog. We do ask all dog owners to ensure that their dogs are kept on the lead at all times, off all carriage seats and from causing any inconvenience to any fellow passanger.
