Father's Day: Sunday 16th June - Sold Out
All small boys at one time had a train set at home and spent hours watching the train go round and round the track. This Father’s Day treat Dad or Grandad to a very special experience at the Nene Valley Railway.
Drive our Shunting Locomotive No DL83 from Wansford to the Tunnel, over the level crossing to the signals, and back to the platform. The experience does not stop there as they can then relive the days of the Track worker by taking to the Pump Trolley and operating the Pump Trolley in the yard at Wansford.
Treat them to a freshly cooked Full English Breakfast from 9am to 1030am or a Wood-Fired Pizza from 12pm to 2pm in our Café (payment required).
Places are limited and booking is required: 09:00, 09:30, 10:30, 11:00, 11:30, 11:55, 12:45, 13:15, 13:45, 14:10, 15:00, 15:30, 16:00 and 16:30.
£40 per person. Over 18 years of age only.
As a keepsake, all participants take away our special Father’s Day Gift Bag containing three bottles of our NVR-labelled Beer.
Places for this experience are limited and participants must be 18 years of age or over. Please note no train travel is included. If you wish to travel on our train services, a further train ticket must be purchased.
